Signs of a hidden leak

A water bill that is higher than usual. The water meter still moving when every tap is off. Damp patches, bubbling paint or mould on walls and floors. Wet patches in the lawn or garden that do not dry out. The sound of running water when nothing is on.

To check, turn off every tap in the house and watch the water meter for a few minutes. If it keeps moving, water is going somewhere and it is worth getting it looked at.
