Filtered water through the whole house
A whole house filter sits on the main water line where it enters your property, so every tap, shower and appliance gets filtered water. Most systems use two or three cartridges in a row: one to catch sediment and dirt, and carbon to reduce chlorine taste and odour. The same setup can be configured for mains water or a rainwater tank.
Filtering at the point of entry also helps your hot water system, washing machine and dishwasher, because less sediment reaches them. Where the water is hard, a filter can be paired with a softener.
We also fit under sink filters and filter taps for drinking water, and plumbed water lines for fridges.

Looking after your filter
Every filter cartridge has a working life. On a whole house system they usually need changing every 6 to 12 months, depending on your water and how much the household uses. Once a cartridge is full it stops doing its job and starts to restrict the flow to the whole house.
When we install a system we note the cartridge type and when it will be due, and we can come back and change them for you.
